Eyebrows at last!
Ok......my eyebrows are super dark
My eyebrows are like a scratch ticket
Where did they go?
You have to be kidding me!
Just Kidding!!!
I think someone played a nasty trick on me.
They are BACK and so natural looking.
Day of Procedure
· After you leave your appointment, every 5-10 minutes ensure you are blotting your brows with a clean tissue or paper towel to collect any excess lymph fluid. Repeat this until the oozing has stopped. Removing lymphatic fluid prevents hardening this fluid.
· Using an unscented gentle wash (baby shampoo, Dial Soap, unscented Cetaphil etc.), gently wash your eyebrows (lathering the soap in the palm of your hand and placing the lathered soap on the brows). Gently rub the lathered soap on the brows with your ring finger (the gentlest finger you have for your face). Clean off with water ensuring all the soap is gone, dry with a clean tissue or paper towel and ensure they are completely dry before going to bed.
NOTE: Gently pat, DO NOT RUB. Do not sure any other cleansing or exfoliating products on the brows.
Day 1 through 7 after the Procedure

· Using a cotton swab, apply a tiny drop (size of rice) of the Tina Davies Aftercare 3 times a day. Spread it on the brow area.
NOTE: DO NOT over-apply, this will delay healing and block the skin from breathing. You should barely notice the product on your skin.
NOTE: DO NOT apply if the brow is still wet. The brows need to be completely dry.
Taking care of your brows is critical. It is extremely important to ensure the quality of your brows for the next 10 days of the healing period. Following these simple instructions will ensure your brows heal and color retains. Skin types are all different, therefore the results will very for each client, and I cannot guarantee your results.
· Avoid sleeping on your face until your brows are healed.
· Avoid saunas, swimming pools, steam rooms and hot tubs for the for the next 10 days after the procedure
· DO NOT pick your brows. Let the flaking naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scaring or loss of color.
· Avoid hot yoga or excessive sweaty exercise for at least 10 days after your procedure. Sweating can infect and fade your brow as there is salt in the sweat. Moderate exercise is totally acceptable.
· Avoid direct sun or tanning for at least 4 weeks after the procedure. UV Rays can change the pigment of your tattoo. We want to ensure your brows are fully healed before any UV rays touch them.
· Avoid long hot showers for the first 10 days after the procedure. However, when you shower try not to have the water run directly on the brows. This is very important for the first few days; you do not want to wash out pigment.
· Avoid any laser light therapy on the brow area. This can distort the pigment.
· Avoid sunscreens or topical onement; including Vaseline.
· Avoid massages, facials or any other skin treatment for the first 10 days after the procedure.
· Avoid any creams, makeup or exfoliants on the brows for the first 10 days after the procedure.
1 Week Prior to Appointment
* Moisturize your lips at least 4x a day; 1x morning, 2x afternoon and 1x evening. You can use any lip moisturizer, please ensure it doesn’t dry your lips out more as some do. Recommendation Aquaphor
3 Days Prior to Appointment
* Lips cannot be dry. Please exfoliate to remove any dry skin. I prefer to create my own HONEY & SUGAR Lip Scrub (Mix one teaspoon of honey with two teaspoons of sugar. Massage the mixture into your lips and leave for 10 minutes, remove with water or a wet cloth).
Very important before you book your appointment for Lip Blush. If you are carrier of the cold sore virus; have them, had them, get them etc. I advise all of these potential clients to go to the doctor for an anti-viral medication prior to the procedure. This will help to avoid an outbreak.
Clients who have never had a cold sore, I would recommend taking L-Lysine 2 weeks before the procedure and 2 weeks after the procedure. This will help reduce the chances of getting one.
Clients have a chance of getting a cold sore after this procedure, so please be aware of this.
* Swollen and dry, these will be the two main side effects after your procedure. Please be sure to apply ointment on lips at least three (3) times a day; the more the merrier, for at least 14 days after the procedure. Always use a clean Q-Tip, DO NOT use your fingers and DO NOT RUB in, just tap, tap. We want to ensure the lips do not become dry as this may interfere with the color once healed.
* If during the day the lips feel dry, apply a liberal amount of ointment. Tapping on the lips with a clean Q-tip and not rubbing in is key. We have less chance of getting an infection if we keep our pretty little fingers off this area.
* Once lips are no longer tender, they may become a bit flaky; normal and most likely expected. Again, we do not want to pick or scratch, let the them heal on their own. Picking or scratching can reduce the amount of pigment absorbed.
* Like most permanent makeup, we want to ensure we are avoiding the sun and tanning beds (before and after). Once the lips are healed, we should be applying a sun block.
* We will likely see some redness, swelling, tenderness and dryness post procedure. You will notice these side effects dissipate in a short period of time.
* 3 stages of color will happen, dark, light to just right. This takes 1 month to achieve the full cycle (see next section for an example).
* Lip touchup must be scheduled 30 to 45 days apart from initial session to help with color retention
The 'PLEASE DO NOT' Section
DO NOT use any Glycolic, Hydroxy or fruit acid products on the lips.
DO NOT have direct water pressure from showers, pools or any other type of bodies of water until they are healed.
DO NOT wear lipstick or any other lip gloss until the lips are healed.
DO NOT eat oily, salty or acidic foods while the lips are healing
DO NOT consume alcohol while healing as this will dry out the lips
DO NOT create any friction to the lip area
Quick Note from Me:
Lips can be unpredictable. You have the clients that will have a very strong lip color with their healed results, while others will only have a slight color.
Clients who have sun damage, scar tissue and/or with implants may adhere strong healed results.
BEAWARE – Hyperpigmentation can happen on any client’s lips. This can happen at any time.
